• Lyngen Area, Lofoten Islands Here's an outstanding personal website by Rogier Schouten, with photos, descriptions, details...this is a must-click site...documents preparations, traveling to the destination, hiking, touring, very complete. Includes links to other Northern Scandinavia hiking pages that Rogier has created.



• Norway -- General/Ecotours commercial site by Ecotours Norway, maintained by Lars-Gøran Moen. Good source of ideas.



• Norway -- Hordaland Mountains This site will help you get from your car to peaks, summits and mountains in Hordaland. A number of hikes are well documented, providing access information, trail description(s), pictures and other relevant information. Site provides individual pages for each prominent mountain. In some cases it provides one page for the entire massif, e.g. Gullfjellet in Bergen. Site is by Arnt Flatmo, and has some of the best photos you'll find on the internet. It is an excellent site and worthy of exploration even if you never plan to visit Hordaland -- but after you see this website, you'll probably think seriously about it!
